Machine Mechanic – Tallaght, Dublin 24

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Mechanic to join our team at our Tallaght site in Dublin 24. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of all commercial laundry equipment.
Key Duties
* Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is kept to a high standard, while also providing reactive maintenance as required.
* Work closely with production management to prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
* Resolve breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance documentation and records.
* Identify, source, and replenish spare parts as needed.
* Ensure the smooth and efficient mechanical and electrical operation of the production facility.
Areas of Experience
* Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Excellent PLC skills, including fault finding and program adjustments.
* Experience in troubleshooting electrical reactive works, including instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
* Multi-skilled technician.
* Trades diploma/qualification.
* Computer literate.
This is a full-time role, and flexibility may be required.
