Site Inventory Management Lead
This role is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted supply of commercial drug product to patients globally. The successful candidate will be an expert in inventory management, with a proven track record of effectively managing large inventories.
Responsibilities:
* Owns and continuously improves the inventory processes, leading the deployment of best practices and maturing of the site planning processes through the SAP deployment.
* Responsible for significant raw materials inventory and finished goods inventory levels, ensuring that stock records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Develops and implements strategies to optimize inventory, maximizing service levels while minimizing expiry.
* Liaises regularly with vendors, maintaining good professional relationships and overseeing systems that ensure accurate entry of all goods-in, returns, inter-branch transfers and other stock movements.
* Drives continuous improvement in all aspects of inventory management, ensuring lean and robust processes, budget control and adequate storage locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in biopharma or pharma in a complex, virtual, commercial supply chain environment. A deep understanding of end-to-end global supply chain processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a global, matrix organization are essential.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
* APICS certification highly desirable.
* Minimum 8 years' hands-on supply chain experience.
* 5 years' experience in biopharma or pharma in a complex, virtual, commercial supply chain environment.
