About This Role:
We are seeking a Facilities Operations Specialist to support our high-spec production operations at a global manufacturing site.
This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards while driving continuous improvement across utilities and processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant systems, preventive maintenance, and industrial services. They will also possess excellent communication skills, systematic problem-solving abilities, and experience working in a facilities or related role.
* Serve as primary contact for vendors and site service providers.
* Coordinate maintenance, preventive maintenance, and upgrades for facility equipment.
* Liaise with cleaning contractors to maintain site-wide standards.
* Maintain accurate records of facilities operations.
* Ensure all activities meet EHS, GMP, GDP, and quality requirements.
* Lead quality initiatives and support operations teams.
* Drive cost and performance improvements across utilities and processes.
* Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
* Monitor environmental compliance.
* Work flexible shifts including outside hours.
Requirements:
* Senior trades qualification in Electrical or Mechanical.
* 5+ years' experience in facilities or related role.
* Strong knowledge of plant systems, preventive maintenance, and industrial services.
* Experience reading P&IDs and schematics.
* Systematic problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
