Your new role
You will be a Company Accountant responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, month-end management accounts, maintaining debtors and creditors ledgers, budgeting/cashflows, VAT/payroll returns and managing the external audit process. The role is very much a hands-on role in which you will play a central role within the company, handling queries from other stakeholders and managers within the business from a finance perspective. You will report directly to the Directors of the Company and have 1 direct report within the finance function.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant or qualified by experience. Ideally, you will have a number of years of hands-on industry experience and exposure to GL/financial accounting processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are pre-requisites for the role as is a demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a close knit team. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who is seeking a challenging but rewarding role within an SME environment.
