Rockwell College is seeking a Maintenance Staff member who will work with the Facilities Department team in areas such as buildings, classrooms, sports halls, swimming pool, grounds, lake etc to provide an efficient, safe and functioning working environment for students, staff and visitors. The candidate should have experience in a similar role.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities· Implementation of project works throughout the College.· Upkeep of grounds and buildings.· Facility refurbishment and renovations· Preparation for College events, third party function, facility hire and summer/mid year lettings.· Provide prompt response to requests and issues from building occupants· Central services work such as security upkeep, cleaning, sports halls, swimming pool, waste disposal and parking etc.Competencies Essential· Qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred but not essential.· Experience in a similar role is essential.Working hours will be 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm Friday and will also be dictated by events and activities in the College.
