As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across all owned segments. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and nurturing new accounts, as well as identifying and managing new opportunities in line with hotels strategy.
Your primary objective will be to source and win new business locally and globally, while collaborating with the Area Director of Sales to ensure objectives are achieved in the sales business plan. You will represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer led events as appropriate, adopting all available tools to support efficient ways of working.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Source and win new business local and global across all owned business segments.
* Collaborate with the ADOS and ensure that objectives are achieved in the Sales business plan.
* Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer led events as appropriate.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience working within a similar position in hotels.
* Effective communicator.
* Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills and understand & identify business trends.
* Excellent organisation and planning skills.
* Sales focused and results driven.
* Strong negotiating skills.
* Ability to develop and build long lasting relationships through account management, and promote cross selling into Dalata hotel group.
* Experience of working with global clients & agencies.
* Knowledge of the Galway market is desirable.
