Project Engineer Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering organisation as a Project Engineer on a permanent basis.
The role offers the chance to be a key player in the delivery of complex engineering projects from concept through to realisation.
As a Project Engineer, you will support senior project managers and work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure the successful execution of projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the execution of engineering projects from initial studies through to delivery.
* Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and proposals for a variety of capital projects.
* Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Oversee project progress in line with safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
* Manage communication between stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree, HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years of industrial experience within a process, energy, or manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of engineering projects on time, to budget and to required standards.
* Strong understanding of SHEQ principles in a project environment.
* Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland.
