You will manage a varied caseload, providing assessment and intervention to help individuals achieve their functional goals and participate fully in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention tailored to either paediatric or adult clients, addressing developmental, sensory, physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.
* Manage a diverse caseload, prioritising care needs to promote functional independence and participation in everyday activities.
* Collaborate closely with patients/families, educators (for paediatric roles), and allied health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Occupational Therapy services within your team.
* Participate in service audits and quality improvement initiatives.
* Maintain high standards of documentation in line with HSE and CORU guidelines.
Requirements
* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
* Ideally, a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience in either a paediatric or adult setting, depending on the role you are applying for.
* Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on person-centred care.
* Full clean driver's licence and access to a car for community-based visits.
