Your new role
Due to expansion and growth plans, we are hiring a Financial Accountant to join an 8-strong finance team. Reporting directly to a Financial Controller, you will prepare monthly and annual accounts for Group entities, including associated reconciliations and variance analysis.
1. Prepare Accounts - journal entries, invoices, receipts and payments to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
2. Produce and analyse cash flow forecasts, including variance analysis.
3. Support the relevant monthly reporting requirements with credit providers and senior management.
4. Involvement in the preparation and compilation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Review and reconciliation of the bank and cash balances.
6. Oversee and manage VAT returns.
7. Support Accounts Payable in the processing and monitoring of invoicing.
8. Develop a working relationship with key business stakeholders and work closely with and assist Procurement, Accounts Payable and management teams.
9. Support the Finance team in driving the use of digital technology solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Accountant - Chartered, ACA, ACCA, CPA & CIMA.
You must be a team player, have good communication skills and demonstrate that you are ambitious.
What you'll get in return
Salary up to €55k, flexible start / finish times. Initially, an in-office position that will move to a hybrid position after circa 6 months.
This position starts off as a 12-month contract.
