You will be responsible for document controlling schedules, submittals, RFIs, progress reporting, recording hours for personnel, taking minutes.
Must be driven and be able to get staff to close out issues.
Our client, a top building contractor, has a vacancy for a site based
Document Controller
in Ringaskiddy Co Cork.
There are full time hours available Monday to Friday.
The position is expected to last at least 1 year.
Responsibilities
Manage documentation records for projects in compliance with all quality and regulatory requirements
Use of electronic documentation systems
Check document for compliance with project requirements, issuances of document, update registers and manage all incoming & outgoing documents
Provide administrative support to Engineering and Projects departments
Project filing/document handover process
Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
Distribute project-related copies to internal teams
File documents in physical and digital records
Create templates for future use
Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients
Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
Requirements
Minimum of 1 years experience in Document Control
Experience working with a building contractor
Experience with document management systems
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe
Ability to understand technical concepts and work with technical departments and personnel to achieve goals
Well organised, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication
