We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support operational leadership within a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
This role will work closely with site leadership teams to deliver financial insights, guide decision-making, and drive performance improvements.
The role spans financial planning & analysis, cost centre controlling, inventory reporting, and support for month-end close and performance reporting processes.
This is a permanent opportunity with Hybrid working based in Dundalk.
Key Responsibilities of Finance Business Partner: Support the preparation of site budgets and financial forecasts.
Review and analyse actual costs versus budget during month-end close, including labour and overhead allocations.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packs with commentary, analysis, and actionable insights.
Partner with cost centre owners to ensure spending is controlled and within budget, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to highlight and deliver productivity improvements and disseminate operational metrics.
Reconcile monthly inventory balances, including reserve calculations and write-off analysis in collaboration with supply chain and manufacturing teams.
Conduct monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis, reviewing production orders and variances.
Maintain standard costing procedures, monitor BOMs/routings, and analyse yield, scrap, and manufacturing variances.
Oversee cycle counting programmes and drive actions to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Collaborate with project controllers to report actual spend, committed spend, and forecast versus budget.
Support cashflow management through accurate and timely reporting.
Provide financial input to investment decisions for new technologies, operational efficiency projects, and capital purchases.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance, including process automation and digitalisation.
Champion a lean finance mindset, seeking opportunities to simplify and enhance finance processes.
Knowledge & Experience of Finance Business Partner: A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or other relevant/equivalent qualification) is essential.
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA (or other relevant/equivalent qualification) is essential.
3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, cost controlling, or operational analysis within a manufacturing Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO is essential.
Excellent skills in Excel and Power Point, with working knowledge of Power BI Analytically minded, with proven ability to own and solve problems and to understand the bigger picture (i.e.
impacts across the business, etc.).
Ability to collaborate with and influence a variety of personnel across the organisation.
