Key Financial Management Role: Newly/Part-Qualified Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Newly/Part-qualified accountant to join our team in County Cork.
This exciting opportunity offers hands-on experience in financial management, working with a diverse client portfolio predominantly in the Retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and review of management accounts to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Analyse and present weekly KPI reports to Senior Management, providing insightful commentary on key performance metrics.
* Identify and address financial control issues, recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Implement and monitor effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient processes and cost-effective solutions.
* Manage working capital to optimise cash flow, minimising risks and maximising returns.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a recognised accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Significant experience in a similar position, with a strong track record of success.
* Proven financial analysis and accounts preparation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to train and supervise junior staff, promoting professional development and growth.
* Proficient IT skills, particularly in financial software and Excel, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
