Catering (Monday-Friday) Role Overview The Senior Chef de Partie is a key member of the corporate kitchen leadership team, responsible for delivering consistently highquality food in a professional, clientfocused environment.
This role combines handson cooking with supervision, training, and operational support, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
The position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule, supporting corporate dining, meetings, and hospitality events, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section Prepare and present highquality food for: Staff restaurants Executive dining Meetings, conferences, and corporate hospitality Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations Supervise, guide, and train CDPs, and Commis Chefs Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations in line with Irish standards Maintain high standards of presentation, consistency, and portion control Assist with menu planning, including seasonal, healthy, and multicultural offerings Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and support cost and waste control Ensure accurate management of allergens and dietary requirements Lead by example, promoting a positive, professional kitchen culture Skills Experience Required Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ready to step up, or current Senior CDP Experience in corporate catering, contract catering, hotels, or highvolume food service Strong organisational and leadership skills Good knowledge of Irish food safety legislation and HACCP Ability to work efficiently within structured service times High attention to detail and commitment to quality What We Offer Monday-Friday working pattern No late nights (except occasional planned events) Stable, professional corporate environment Opportunity for career progression within contract catering Supportive team culture and structured kitchen operations
