Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Support Specialist, providing 1st and 2nd line technical assistance to trading, sales, and risk teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting spreadsheet-based models, macros, and add-ins, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver prompt and effective technical support to traders, sales professionals, and risk analysts, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Respond to and resolve real-time production issues on the trade floor, restoring service quickly to meet critical business requirements.
* Collaborate closely with traders to diagnose complex technical issues and coordinate solutions with development and infrastructure teams.
* Maintain and enhance spreadsheet solutions, ensuring compliance, stability, and risk control.
* Develop and implement efficient debugging techniques for VBA and Python code.
* Monitor and support real-time data feeds, Bloomberg market data, risk analytics, and trade blotters.
Requirements
* 5-8 years' experience in a fast-paced trading environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional technical support.
* Deep expertise in Excel, including complex formulas, workflow tracing, and debugging.
* Strong skills in VBA and basic Python programming (debugging, quick fixes).
* Familiarity with Rates products (Futures, Swaps, XCCY Swaps, FX Forwards).
* Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach.
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or Business.
