This is an exceptional opportunity to define, build, evangelize, and optimize our SRE practices.Job DescriptionSkills RequiredExperience in continuous deployment of cloud services.Basic knowledge of tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub ActionsComfortable working with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Docker containers.Knowledge of capacity and scalability of cloud resources.Familiarity with AWS / Azure, anyone of the cloud platform..Programming skills in Python, or scripting languages to build tooling for self-service automation.Experience in monitoring tools like Datadog, Elasticsearch, KibanaGood problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues in complex multi-tier environments.Eager to learn new technologies and passionate about the field.Your RoleEnsure 24x7 production environment with high service availability.Coordinate with engineering teams to drive incident resolution.Collaborate with development teams to define and implement service architecture improvements.Implement automation and orchestration for cloud service operations and deployments.Enhance the incident management lifecycle to identify, mitigate, and learn from reliability risks.Team IntroThe SRE Data Platform team is responsible for supporting Guidewire Cloud Data Platform products. We serve as the core team managing deployments and product upgrades across the platform.Our team operates on an on-call rotation to respond to critical data streaming alerts and ensure high availability.
