OverviewCEL are recruiting a highly motivated and dynamic EHS Manager who will be accountable for promoting a positive environmental and safety culture across our organisation, ensuring we operate to the highest standards with the appropriate tools and training and maintaining our manufacturing facilities as required. Reporting to the group Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain the EHS Manager will work in partnership with their peers across the company to ensure Best-in-Class performance on behalf of CEL and our customers. The role is directly responsible for providing effective ‘on-the-ground' leadership to all staff across IRL / US sites to ensure adherence to appropriate legislation in all jurisdictions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and ensure compliance of an EHS strategy, conforming to ISO45001 and ISO14001Ensure EHS strategy across jurisdictions is complementary while also compliant with individual codesEstablish an effective risk management process and advise on key business decisions to our site leadershipCreate and report relevant KPI's, ensuring the necessary actions are taken where targets are not being metManage accident investigations, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions as requiredCreate a communication loop for all employees providing clear information on EHS issues and lessons learnedEnact an internal audit program, ensuring CEL operates in compliance with required EHS regulationsAct as the company representative during external audits, either customer or regulatoryAssists personnel in understanding their EHS obligations and how to fulfil their responsibilitiesImplement and monitor a comprehensive EHS employee training program, ensuring regulatory complianceAssume full responsibility for all Facilities Management activities across our manufacturing facilities in IrelandCo-ordinate and manage maintenance activities identified during internal audits for CEL manufacturing sitesDrive behavioural change, implementing companywide performance improvement programs and practicesProvide day-to-day operational support on a proactive basis on all EHS related mattersEngage with external stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle and obtain objective program feedbackDevelop and manage the EHS operational budget reporting discrepancies as requiredSupport the EHS training, coaching and development of our teams across operations and client sitesExperience / Skills RequiredDegree educated with 3 - 5 years' experience at senior management levelDemonstrated organizational, leadership and communication skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven approach and adept at identifying and solving issuesEffective communications / presentation skills and ability to advise on EHS legislationProven EHS auditing experience both in operational and remote sitesAbility and willingness to travel regionally - approx. 10% travel requirementAbility to work on own initiative, self-motivated and good time managementBenefitsWhy Join CEL Critical Power?
