Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Resident Engagement & Activities Leader to enhance the lives of our residents through engaging, person-centred programmes. This role combines hands‑on activity coordination with team leadership in a supportive care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the Activities Team, ensuring high-quality delivery
Plan and deliver a varied weekly activities programme tailored to resident needs
Encourage participation and promote social interaction and wellbeing
Organise events, outings, and seasonal celebrations
Build relationships with residents and develop personalised activity plans
Manage team rostering, meetings, and performance
Develop links with the local community and coordinate volunteers
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIQA standards
About You
Creative, organised, and people-focused
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for enhancing quality of life for older adults
Experience in a similar role (healthcare setting desirable)
Knowledge of HIQA standards an advantage
