Job Title:
Safety Excellence Manager Position Available.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety or environmental management, with hands-on work experience or academic qualifications. Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular workplace inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards, risks, and environmental impacts.
* Provide training to employees, contractors, and visitors on safety best practices and procedures.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and quality issues, and develop and implement corrective actions.
* Monitor workplace conditions to prevent occupational health issues and promote employee well-being.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address SHEQ concerns.
* Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
* Ideal proven experience as a EHS Officer or in a similar role, preferably in a high-risk industry.
* Strong analytical skills to identify hazards, risks, and improvement opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train employees and collaborate across departments.
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
