We are seeking an experienced MRI Clinical Specialist for our Clinic in Cork. They will lead and support the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a safe and compliant MRI environment. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in patient care, technical expertise, and service development. Key Responsibilities: Independently operate MRI equipment and perform a wide range of diagnostic MRI examinations. Manage daily MRI operations including scheduling, equipment maintenance, QA, and reporting issues. Ensure adherence to MRI safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and departmental policies. Perform clinical assessments and tailor scan protocols based on patient history and diagnostic needs. Maintain accurate records, including scan data, radiation doses, and patient information. Support service development, staff training, and performance reviews. Provide cross-cover in other radiology areas (X-ray, DEXA) as needed. Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices Qualifications & Experience: BSc in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent. CORU registration (mandatory). Minimum 6 years post-graduate MRI experience (or 3 years with specialized MRI training). Proficiency in routine and advanced MRI techniques. Why Join Us?
