A seasoned financial professional is required to oversee global manufacturing and supply chain finance operations. Key responsibilities include month-end close, accounting for manufacturing activity, ensuring correct accounting for Buy/Sell entities, developing an understanding of material flow, monitoring production plans, conducting data analysis, evaluating inventory balances, reviewing and analyzing inventory variances, participating in the annual standard cost setting process, assisting with consolidated financial management reporting, reviewing and maintaining cycle counts, collaborating with CMO, supply chain, and manufacturing departments to ensure inventory accuracy, maintaining internal controls, working with internal and external auditors, establishing relationships with Corporate & Regional Finance teams, representing Finance in local and global projects and initiatives, engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with ERP and global finance teams, interacting and collaborating effectively within workgroups and areas of expertise.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualification. Multi-national experience is essential. Costing experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and internal control environments is desirable. Experience with integrated ERP systems, general ledger functions, sub-ledger processes, and period closing is necessary. Oracle and/or SAP experience is advantageous. A solid understanding of the relationship between other accounting functions and manufacturing accounting is crucial.
