Engineering Commissioning Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Commissioning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in bringing data centers closer to their customers by integrating IT and facility components for rapid deployment.
* As a commissioning agent, you will oversee mechanical systems including cooling/heating systems, plumbing, fire, fuel oil, and BMS systems in various environments.
* You will manage projects, plans, specifications, and assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering commissioning role for large facility projects.
* Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
* A thorough quality management/QC process and procedures will be followed to validate and document client systems.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or industrial training with 3+ years of experience in mechanical/controls engineering, energy services, plant operations, or related field or Construction Management.
* Previous data center/mission-critical experience is required.
* Experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, as well as working with general contractors and communicating expectations effectively.
* Knowledge of major regulations, industry codes, and standards, as well as basic construction materials, means, and methods is essential.
