With a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence, they are now seeking a
Service Support Administrator
to support their service team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
This is a full time, permanent role based on their site.
As a
Service Support Administrator
, you will support day-to-day service operations by managing job workflows, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer communications. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth service experience for customers while maintaining accurate systems and records.
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customers and engineers, taking calls and logging service requests.
* Raise, manage, and complete service jobs.
* Monitor job status and update service leads on unissued or pending jobs.
* Request and manage purchase orders (POs) from customers and link them to service jobs.
* Complete jobs and generate invoices.
* Update customer portals with job progress and completion details.
* Investigate and resolve customer invoice queries in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Must have experience within in a role that supported a material handling, industrial machinery, or a technical service environment.
* Previous experience in service administration, customer service, or parts support is essential.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Familiarity with service workflows, invoicing, and job tracking systems will be an advantage.
* Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Proactive approach with a strong customer-service mindset.
