The role of a Day Activities Facilitator (Supervisor/Instructor Grade):
Day Activity Facilitators work as part of a team to develop schemes of work and learning programmes aligned with national guidelines. They plan, prepare, and deliver these programmes tailored to the individual needs and abilities of the people supported. They monitor and record progress, adapt resources accordingly, and stay updated on developments in their field. The welfare and wellbeing of the people supported are always the top priority. The role requires professionalism, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to empower individuals with diverse perspectives.
