The Opportunity: Our client is currently seeking a Qualified Senior Tax Associate to join their Tax Department on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role can be based in either their Dublin or Cork office and will report directly to the Tax Manager. Salary / Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible working hours Hybrid working structure "Work from Anywhere" policy Defined Competency and Career Paths Framework for clear progression Comprehensive Learning & Development Programme Mental health and wellbeing support across mental, physical, financial, and social areas Early Friday finishes (3pm year-round) and a day off on your birthday Active Sports & Social Committee and regular company events Opportunities to contribute through community and charity initiative Responsibilities: Preparing tax returns across multiple tax heads, including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, and capital acquisitions tax Assisting managers to ensure all compliance deadlines are met Conducting research on complex tax technical issues Supporting Managers, Directors, and Partners on tax advisory projects Building and managing strong relationships with clients and providing timely, clear tax advice Liaising with Revenue on behalf of clients, including seeking rulings on specific tax positions Working with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and identify additional client needs Requirements: At least 2 years experience in an Irish practice environment CTA qualified with a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience Strong technical knowledge across all tax heads Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software Self-starter with strong initiative and a collaborative mindset This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to join a forward-thinking firm that genuinely supports employee development and work-life balance.
