Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our sales and procurement team. Key responsibilities include:
* Order placement and purchasing from suppliers
* Effective buying and supply chain management to ensure continuity of supply
* Monitoring stock levels against sales projections and managing shipping schedules
* Maintaining strong working relationships with strategic and long-term suppliers to assure quality, value, and delivery targets
* Assisting the sales team with up-to-date, real-time product supply chain information
* Performing other essential office duties as required.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum Leaving Certificate qualification, third level an advantage
• At least two years' previous procurement/buying experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Motivation to work on own initiative
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Stock Control packages.
