Precision Cables are currently recruiting for the role of Purchasing Administrator.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting Purchasing Manager with day to day administrative tasks such as purchase orders and stock system updates.Monitor stock levels, placing orders for new stock based on sales forecasts, reorder rules and stock levels.Generate reports on stock levels, order status, supplier performance, and purchasing trends to inform management.Developing and maintaining strong and positive relationships with suppliers as a liaison for the Purchasing Manager.Coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of stock, following up on any delays or issues.Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and research potential new suppliers to optimise procurement.Accurately input data related to purchasing, stock levels, and suppliers into inventory management systems or spreadsheets.Supporting Operations Managers with effective stock management including Goods in and yearly stocktakes.Communication with the teams regarding new lines, price changes and promotionsOther tasks as required to facilitate the stock and purchasing for the groupSkills & ExperiencePositive team player with a drive to succeed.Previous experience in purchasing, stock control and supply management are very desirable. (1-3 years)IT and computer literate. Experience and confidence in using Excel spreadsheets is essential.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, internal teams and management.Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your work.Organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.Self-motivated and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to problem solve to resolve issues quickly and effectively, particularly related to stock discrepancies and supply issues.Full clean driving license.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In personReference ID: Purchasing Administrator
