We are looking to hire a Legal Executive on a permanent basis who has a real interest in specialising into the Aviation Finance practice area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience within a large or medium corporate law firm. Legal experience in Aviation Finance would be the ideal, however we would also be interested in speaking to candidates that have experience in working within a General Finance environment.
The purpose of the role will be to provide expert legal support within the Aviation Finance Practice Group, assisting solicitors and partners in managing complex transactions, drafting documentation, and ensuring compliance with Irish and international aviation finance regulations.
Responsibilities include:
Transaction support
Assist in the management of aircraft financing, leasing, and sale transactions
Coordinate with key stakeholder to ensure smooth execution of deals
Legal documentation
Draft and review transaction documents including lease agreements, financing contracts, and novation agreements
Prepare conditions precedent checklists and manage document execution and delivery
Stakeholder interaction
Provide clear and professional communication throughout the transaction lifecycle with all key stakeholders
Regulatory compliance
Ensure compliance with Irish aviation law, international treaties (e.g. Cape Town Convention), and relevant EU regulations
Assist with aircraft registration and deregistration processes with the Irish Aviation Authority
Administrative duties
Maintain accurate transaction records.
Support billing and matter management systems.
