Bid Manager – Tenders & Pitches (12-14 Month Contract)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bid Professional to join a leading professional services firm on a maternity cover contract. This role sits within the Business Development & Marketing team, which drives growth, supports commercial opportunities, and enhances the firm’s profile in Irish and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management of tenders, pitches, and bid proposals across multiple practice areas.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders, partners, and fee earners to ensure submissions are of the highest quality, client-focused, and aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.
* Manage the full bid lifecycle, from qualification and strategy through to submission and post-bid review.
* Coordinate bid teams, facilitate kick-off meetings, and shape win strategies.
* Draft, edit, and format compelling bid documents tailored to client needs.
* Ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and compliance with firm standards.
* Track bid outcomes, provide reporting to senior management, and champion best practices.
* Maintain and develop bid content libraries and templates.
About You
* 3+ years’ experience in tenders, pitches, or bid management.
* Proven track record of leading tender submissions end-to-end.
* Strong writing, editing, and document design skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Professional services or legal sector experience.
* Experience delivering training in bid or pitch best practices.
