Job Title:
Financial Analyst - Taxation and Inventory Expertise
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at our Swords campus. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience in taxation and inventory management, working closely with the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT returns on time.
* Complete Statutory statistical return (VEIS and Intrastat) within monthly deadlines.
* Review new product introduction flows to ensure correct VAT treatment for all NPI transactions.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparation of quarterly Corporation tax provision.
* Assist with annual Corporation tax return in Irish and UK jurisdiction.
* Assist with R&D tax credit application.
* Assist with year-end deferred tax provision.
Inventory Management:
* Manage inventory accounting for SKBTI.
* Calculate quarterly inventory obsolescence.
* Ensure inventory records are complete and accurate.
Other Key Tasks:
* Prepare Service and deposit Invoices to customers and the associated Revenue Recognition.
* Prepare quarterly Customs returns to Revenue.
* Provide ad-hoc support for customer queries related to Customs Procedures.
* Manage month-end close process for AR, inventory, and taxes.
* Monthly preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
* Assist with audit queries in tax, inventory, and revenue areas.
Requirements:
* Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Minimum 1 Year experience in a similar role.
* High attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
