Production Operations Role
This production operations role is a key position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
* Assembly, fabrication, and testing of production units will also form part of the daily responsibilities.
* Monitoring and recording production data, including measurements, observations, and any deviations from expected results, is crucial to this role.
* Quality control checks will be conducted to ensure products meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.
* Troubleshooting and resolving equipment or process-related issues to minimise downtime and maintain productivity is essential.
* Collaboration with the Engineering team and providing feedback on product performance, process improvements, and potential issues is vital.
* Adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and maintaining a clean and organised work environment are mandatory.
* Participation in safety programs and promoting a culture of safety by following all safety protocols and identifying potential hazards is critical.
Requirements:
* A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification; additional technical education or vocational training is desirable.
* Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Basic knowledge of scientific and technical principles relevant to the industry is advantageous.
* Proficiency in following detailed instructions and accurately documenting data is essential.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues are required.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work is necessary.
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is vital.
