We are seeking an accomplished Automation Sales Lead to spearhead our sales strategy in the automation sector.
Key Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating technical layouts with AutoCad, providing simulations and data to support sales efforts.
* Generating quotations templates and proposals for clients is also a key responsibility of this role.
* Collaborating closely with internal teams, including design, CEO, sales manager, and production director, to ensure that quotations and designs include all necessary information and costs.
* Supporting pricing by working with the technical director, production director, and financial controller to ensure that pricing and cost data is accurate.
* Representing the company at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions, delivering presentations on the company's products and services.
* Contributing to the sales pipeline and lead tracking process to report on key KPIs related to lead generation and conversion rates.
* Providing exceptional customer service by working with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure their needs are met.
* Offering market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generating product development ideas.
* Updating the CRM system and maintaining the catalogue to ensure it is up-to-date.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* 4+ years of experience in the packaging, engineering, or machine manufacturing industry.
* Proven experience in selling automation solutions.
* Deep knowledge of AutoCad 2D and Solidworks 3D.
* Competency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Education
* Preferrably a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
* Completion of a mechanical drafting course is highly desirable.
