Job Overview
We are seeking a candidate who will work with the committed team in a proactive and enthusiastic manner, who is self‑motivated, flexible, able to work on their own initiative, leading the team and delivering the agreed goals.
The role
Work with the Food & Beverage Team to ensure food service is at the highest levels, is as efficient as possible and delivered to the guests' needs.
Ensure all guests receive a positive and memorable experience, tending to guests promptly and professionally.
Ensure the smooth, efficient running of the Events, Banqueting and Private Dining spaces in relation to food & beverage service.
Maintain a high quality of service at all times and ensure the service runs efficiently on a consistent basis.
Train and develop employees, ensuring compliance with agreed standards.
Effectively manage the roster for the team based on activities and business levels, operating within the budget set by senior management.
Promote a sense of team spirit and a positive working atmosphere within the Banqueting department and with all other departments.
Optimize sales and actively engage with guests.
Lead and assist the teams in all daily activities in a hands‑on capacity and be present for all key functions, conferences, meetings, weddings, and events.
Act as duty manager when required.
The ideal candidate for this position
3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
Outstanding ability to deliver professional guest service.
Well groomed and takes pride in appearance.
Confidence and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
Exceptional guest care with the ambition to drive standards and performance in a busy environment.
Ability to lead, multi‑task and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for food presentation and service, with superb attention to detail while adhering to revenue and cost budgets.
Full permission or a valid visa to work in the EU.
