Job Title: Site Manager/Project Manager
Job Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in heritage, conservation, and traditional building techniques to lead a major conservation subcontract package on a high-profile project based in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing and coordinating conservation activities including brick repairs, pointing, cleaning, replacement, lime plastering, and cornice plastering in situ. They will also manage subcontractors and specialist trades to ensure works are delivered to strict heritage and conservation standards.
Maintaining progress, quality, and Health & Safety across the site is crucial, as well as liaising with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to plan and manage daily site operations and project timelines.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in heritage or conservation projects
* Strong understanding of traditional materials and restoration techniques
* Previous experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in construction
* Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades on a live site
* A proactive approach to quality, detail, and problem-solving
