The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to both inpatients and outpatients, contributing to the hospital's commitment to excellence in patient care.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plansDeliver exercise-based rehabilitation, manual therapy and education across orthopaedics, respiratory, pelvic health, and general medical caseloads in an in-patient setting.Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care pre and post-operativelyMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with hospital policiesParticipate in departmental audits, service development initiatives, and continuing professional development (CPD) activitiesEducate patients and families on recovery strategies and self-management techniquesAdhere to professional standards and regulatory guidelines (CORU, ISCP)Qualifications & Experience:BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)CORU registration, or registration pending, with recognition of qualification complete.Membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) desirableClinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferredEvidence of CPD in the area of pelvic health desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEqual Opportunity Statement and BenefitsUPMC is an equal opportunity employer.
