Flexsource are currently looking for an experienced Field Technician. This is a full-time position for a facility management company based in South Dublin.
The successful candidate will carry out planned maintenance activities, reactive maintenance, and new installations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and utilities, in compliance with the company’s and client’s EHS and Quality standards. This is a nationwide Field Technician role.
Please note that this role requires Garda Vetting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To carry out a range of technical duties to install, service, and maintain.
2. To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all mechanical systems and equipment.
3. Proactively identify maintenance issues to maximise equipment uptime.
4. Servicing of mechanical equipment, boilers, heat systems components, and pressure units.
5. To carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
6. Upload appropriate PPM records and reports in line with requirements.
7. Assist in quoting for follow-on works, installation of new plant and equipment.
8. To keep the help desk and engineering managers updated at all times in relation to equipment issues.
9. Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed timeframe.
10. Provide relevant information to assist with the generation of reports.
11. Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
12. Report any accidents, incidents, and out-of-place findings to the line manager.
13. Maintain work areas and plant room areas in a tidy condition at all times.
Key Requirements:
1. Senior Trades in a plumbing/mechanical discipline or Diploma in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline.
2. Formal training (RGI Qualified).
3. Safe Pass, Manual Handling.
4. Experience in the following areas - Utilities / Facilities.
5. Previous relevant experience.
6. Basic computer knowledge essential.
7. Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.

08:00 – 16:30
Rates of Pay:
€24.95 p/h
