Competitive salary and strong benefits package Hybrid working Holiday purchase scheme Broad role with exposure across group finance Exposure to projects and systems Annual discretionary bonus scheme linked to performance About You Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) At least 2 years industry experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail with excellent Excel skills Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across departments Your Responsibilities Always: Contribute to the month-end close and ensure timely preparation of management accounts Manage and update financial schedules such as accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts Support audit readiness and contribute to annual financial statement preparation Prepare and file VAT and corporation tax returns in line with group deadlines Oversee day-to-day operations in core finance areas including payables, receivables, and banking Often: Collaborate on budget planning, reforecasting, and tracking key financial metrics Ensure processes adhere to internal control frameworks and support regulatory compliance Work cross-functionally to provide financial insights and support decision-making Take responsibility for regulatory submissions and external financial reporting Occasionally: Get involved in internal audits and contribute to financial process improvements Deliver one-off analysis and tailored reports to inform leadership decisions Never: Be on your own the team is collaborative and support is always available Change the tyre on your managers car, unless you want to.
