We're looking for a part-time bookkeeper who can take ownership of the finance side and keep our accounts clean, accurate and up to date.What we needWe're looking for someone who:Has experience with Xero (or a similar cloud-accounting platform)Understands Shopify reports, payouts, fees and reconciliationsCan manage VAT across different sales types (tattoos, piercings, products, jewellery, gift cards, deposits)Knows how to track commissions for artists and piercersHas experience working in similar service or retail-based businesses (tattoo, beauty, hair, clinics, e-commerce, hospitality, etc.)Is comfortable handling supplier invoices and stock-related expensesCan reconcile bank accounts monthly and maintain an organised chart of accountsUnderstands small business operations and can work independentlyResponsibilitiesWeekly or monthly bank reconciliationCategorising expenses and supplier billsMapping Shopify, Stripe and SumUp payouts correctlyEnsuring VAT treatment is accurate for services, products and gift cardsTracking artist and piercer commissionsSupporting our accountants at year-endProducing simple monthly summaries for managementWhat we offerFlexible part-time hoursA creative, friendly workplaceFreedom to organise and improve the accounting workflowOpportunity to grow with a fast-moving brandIf you're organised, detail-driven and comfortable working in a business with both services and e-commerce sales, we'd love to hear from you.Apply with your CV and a short introduction.
