Purpose Of The Role
Controlling company inventory with accurate reporting, replenishing items according to business needs and implementing purchases, audits, and transfers.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Carrying out physical stock counts across Cut Flowers, Packaging, Pot Plants & Auction Material
* Manage all auction material returns & reconcile weekly & monthly with customers & suppliers
* Relocate and sort packaging items in assigned areas
* Prepare specific packaging items for production as required
* Reconcile issues to ensure KBS accuracy
* Investigate and report any stock errors found
* Proactively address problems
* Carry out stock audits
* Maintain the integrity of the stock control system to the highest standard
* Carry out any other stock-related tasks to support the team
* Any other duties as required
* Coordinate the finalising of stock balancing process each day
* Report stock count and balancing issues to Stock Control Manager

Key Skills & Knowledge

* Previous Stock Control experience
* Strong communicator
* Flexibility and honesty
* Flexibility around peaks (Christmas, Valentine’s, Mothers Day & Easter)
* High initiative to identify key priorities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
* Commitment to health and safety in all work
Desirable
* Experience with Auction / Pallets / Crates Returns
* Computer skills with KBS2 experience
