Job Title: Senior Claims Manager Location: South Dublin Working Model: Hybrid Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Manager to lead the management of Damage Claims across both Property and Motor lines within the insurance sector.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the strategic and operational oversight of damage claims teams, ensuring strong service delivery and alignment with wider business objectives.
Reporting into senior claims leadership, the successful candidate will lead people, performance, and operational standards across the damage function.
This role is suited to an experienced claims leader with a strong background in people management, service optimisation, and driving change within a customer-focused environment.
Your Role Lead and manage Damage Claims Team Managers, ensuring clear objectives and consistent delivery across teams.
Translate strategic goals into operational plans and individual performance targets.
Oversee service delivery, performance metrics, and customer outcomes across property and motor damage claims.
Drive continuous improvement, transformation initiatives, and simplified customer journeys.
Manage relationships and performance with outsourced service providers.
Support talent development, succession planning, and technical capability within the team.
Act as a senior stakeholder across cross-functional initiatives and claims change programmes.
Your Skills Minimum four year's experience in people and operational management within claims or a similar environment.
Strong background in property and/or motor damage claims handling and leadership.
Proven experience leading teams through change and transformation.
APA (Personal & Commercial) required; CIP, ACII or equivalent desirable.
Strong track record of delivering service excellence against KPIs and quality standards.
Confident senior leader with strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
