The Quality Environment Health Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, managing occupational health, investigating accidents, and providing training on EHS protocols. The role also involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
The role will involve integration into the operation of the companies activities, site visits to complete audits on various sites nationwide and the development of policies and procedures to supplement our existing Integrated Management System and the upkeep of our ISO certification. Supporting and managing the development of Tender Submissions and Supplier Questionnaires will be an important part of the role.
Working with the existing administration, management and HSEQ support staff in our office in Dublin 22 (just outside Newcastle in Co Dublin) and visiting sites around the country mean that a full clean driving licence is essential for the proposed role. The applicant should have experience in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments, Design Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Safety & Health plans.
Project management of PSCS projects including Client management, coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and scope will also be a key part of the proposed role.
Responsibilities

Managing and developing the existing safety systems in place for carrying out works safely on site.
Liaison between the administration, project management and operations teams to complete risk assessments, develop method statements and complete safety and environmental auditing.
Ensure all health and safety documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
Supporting and managing the development of Tender Submissions and Supplier Questionnaires will be an important part of the role.

Qualifications
* Experience in Health & Safety and Occupation Health - minimum 10 years experience required
* Strong Understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards
* Skills in Accident Investigation and Training
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Relevant certifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
* Experience in the contracting or consulting industry is critical
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
* Full Clean Drivers Licence
