We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Fitter to join our client's growing team near Dungarvan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic and expanding organization.
About the Role:
* Measure and fit windows accurately into window openings, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.
* Handle and transport windows, frames, and other materials to and from the worksite.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools, such as drills, saws, and caulking guns, to cut, shape, and install window components.
* Apply weatherproofing and insulation materials to ensure windows are sealed and energy-efficient.
* Remove old windows and frames and replace them with new ones, performing repairs when necessary.
* Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhering to industry safety standards.
Your Qualifications:
* Window installation experience
* Knowledge of window installation techniques, measurements, and tools.
* Able to work in physically demanding environments
* Precision in measuring and cutting materials for accurate window installation.
* Effective communication skills for working with clients, team members, and supervisors.
* A valid driving license and any relevant trade certifications
