Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a client's team in Cork.
This pivotal role involves supporting the Head Chef and managing the kitchen, ensuring high levels of food quality and consistency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing daily service and preparation, managing junior chefs, and contributing to menu planning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing kitchen operations and supervising junior staff
* Developing and implementing menus that meet customer needs and preferences
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
* A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to lead by example
Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from €35,000 to €40,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
