Summary of the Business
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government. It manages a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities, including borrowing for the Exchequer, the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), the National Development Finance Agency, and the NTMA Future Ireland Funds business unit. The NTMA also supports the National Asset Management Agency, the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland and Home Building Finance Ireland.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for talented and motivated graduates to join the ISIF – Data Analytics/MI Team on a 23‑month Associate Programme commencing in September 2026. The programme is open to graduates with a degree in Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Work with deal origination and portfolio management data to produce management information and metrics.
Produce ad‑hoc reporting and analysis.
Conduct deep‑dive data analysis of quantitative and qualitative datasets.
Build dashboards and other analytics solutions.
Perform statistical analysis and financial modelling.
Present key findings to stakeholders.
Document solutions and training guides.
Coordinate data team activities, including meetings, minutes and data quality issues (investigation, root‑cause analysis, remediation).
Support change‑management activities.
Learning and Development
Associates will complete additional training, receive NTMA support, and participate in a detailed associate training programme and the NTMA associate network.

Qualifications
Ambitious, commercially minded and diligent.
Minimum of a 2.1 honours degree (or 2.1 Master’s) ideally in finance, data analytics or a related discipline.
