We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Generator/Electrical Engineer to join our Kilcronagh depot in Cookstown.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and servicing our electrical equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
This is a hands-on position that offers a variety of responsibilities, ongoing technical development, and the chance to work on diverse projects daily.
What you will do: Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on generators and electrical equipment.
Installation and testing of generator sets for various applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring timely repairs.
Provide technical support and excellent customer service to customers.
Conduct on-site servicing and repairs throughout Ireland, including event setup.
Ensure all job and service records are completed accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
What you will need: Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, particularly with electrical faults.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Relevant electrical/electronic qualification and extensive electrical knowledge.
Mechanical skills, with experience in hydraulics and mechanics.
Level 3 mechanical qualification is a plus.
Previous experience as an industrial electrician or working with generators.
Previous experience in control panel building.
Full driving licence.
