Job Description: Our client, a leading organisation in a regulated engineering-related sector, is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead their digital and IT transformation strategy.
This is a pivotal leadership role driving technology alignment with business objectives.

Lead the development of enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.
Oversee business-wide digital transformation initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements.
Inspire and guide IT teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture with a focus on development and collaboration.
Drive a culture of agile working, innovation, and continuous improvement across technology operations.
Manage IT infrastructure performance, ensuring system availability, resilience, and scalability.
Optimise ERP systems and lead business process improvements across functions.
Oversee IT budgets, vendor partnerships, and service management.
Lead cybersecurity initiatives in line with applicable standards and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
Promote the adoption of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Experience Required Minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience in IT, looking at candidates who are heads of IT / CIO level for a SME sized organisation.
Proven track record in leading digital transformation and innovation initiatives at a strategic level.
Significant experience managing ERP systems, enterprise architecture, and cloud platforms.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, governance, and compliance.
Desirable Skills Familiarity with data analytics, AI, and automation technologies.
Experience working across international jurisdictions with a willingness to travel.
Prior experience in performance-driven, commercially-focused environments with strong innovation cultures.
Educational Requirements Masters degree in Operations Management, IT, or a related field.
Recognised certifications in IT governance, security, or digital transformation are an advantage.
Working Hours & Benefits On site and some hybrid after 6 months Comprehensive benefits package including pension, bonus, and life assurance.
Salary Circa 120-140k base plus 20% bonus and Pension and Healthcare.
Ideally someone who lives West of Ireland as the role is on site.
