Freight Coordinator
This role entails overseeing the execution of shipping plans, managing resources efficiently, and developing a team to enhance technical proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate shipments and manage inventory effectively.
2. Provide guidance and coaching to the shipping team.
3. Develop expertise in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, and Shipping.
4. Collaborate with logistics, production, planning, finance, QA, and European and China Transport teams.
5. Prepare daily/weekly shipments of finished goods.
6. Ensure accurate transactions are performed for inventory movement.
7. Analyze inventory transaction movement and report weekly on key activities.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
9. Manage performance, delivery of objectives, and career development of direct reports.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years experience in logistics/shipping/supply chain at team-lead level.
* Degree/diploma in Business/Manufacturing or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
* Working knowledge of SAP and skills in Shipping, Inventory, and Warehouse Management.
