Credit Controller Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Debtors Ledger, including issuing monthly statements and resolving any issues that may affect payment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of financial software, particularly Exchequer accounts system, and experience using Microsoft Office. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the sales team and external contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Debtors Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and statements.
* Liaise with debt collection agencies and associated legal contacts to resolve any issues that may arise.
* Post receipts and liaise with the sales team on collection activities.
* Prepare reports as required by management.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
