My client is looking to hire a Qualified Accountant to join their South Dublin-based Finance team for a hybrid permanent role. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will support core internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with tax reporting and payment legislation. You will enhance the reliability and timeliness of financial reporting and controls through various projects. Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support within the finance department and across the company.
Duties:
1. Internal reporting for multiple business units, including monthly management accounting and variance analysis.
2. Analyzing business unit data and liaising with managers.
3. Reconciling and controlling balance sheet accounts.
4. Stock management counts and reporting.
5. Preparing and reconciling supplier rebate accounts, informing senior management of any surplus/deficit.
6. Advising on financial reporting and control improvements.
7. Documenting financial processes.
8. Completing monthly reporting and payments, including VAT, RCT, Corporation Tax, Intrastat, and other compliance reports.
9. Reconciling reports and payments to the general ledger.
10. Preparing annual statutory accounts for legal entities.
11. Supporting the Finance department as needed.
12. Leading or participating in ad hoc projects.
Skills
* Qualified Accountant
