About the Role:
Due to increased successful project awards in the renewable sector, we are currently looking to hire experienced Electrical Design Engineers to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of engineering drawings (
substation
layouts, elevations, lightning zones etc.);
* Preparation of panel schematic drawings.
* Design of protection and control schemes.
* Preparation of equipment specifications.
* Technical evaluation of equipment offers.
* Technical report writing.
Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Degree.
Required Skills:
* Experience with
HV substation design
from 10kV to 220kV.
* On the ground experience with
ESB standards
* Proficiency in
Eplan
and AutoCAD 2D
* 2 - 3 years' in a similar position
* Full clean drivers licence
* Team player and have good interpersonal skills.
* Technical leader.
* Flexible, committed and works well under time pressure.
* Safety focused.
* Logical and imaginative approach to problem solving.
* Proven capability in decision making.
* Motivated and work well without direct supervision
