Software Engineer III: Security Endpoint Agents Core
We're seeking a skilled software engineer to enhance Alphabet's security posture by empowering security teams to better observe, protect and respond in any environment.
About the Role
You will join Google's Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind our flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google.
The Core team has a mandate and unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems.
Main Responsibilities
* Design and maintain low-level security agents with stringent reliability and performance requirements.
* Maintain the telemetry agent's Extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF) based functionality.
* Develop and maintain a data collection pipeline for aggregating security-relevant data.
